The location was good in a nice area, near the taxi, suburbs such as Karnataka, Krieger, sella katharagama, thissamaharamaya temple, sunglasses temple, Miranda, yala safari and many more sightseeing s and Udawalawe national parks.

Convenient location! It's super close to the taxi stand, which made getting around a breeze. the Safari was just a stone's throw away. Loved our stay in the queen room - it even had a fridge in it for snacks and drinks. Top-notch facilities to make you feel right at home! 🌟

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming ambiance of the hotel. The decor was rustic yet elegant, with beautiful wooden furniture and warm colors. The general areas such as the lobby and the restaurant had a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, making me feel right at home. Additionally, as a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was. There were ramps and handrails throughout the property, making it easy for me to navigate and enjoy my stay without any difficulties.

I would have liked if the children working there were a little more attentive and proactive in assisting senior guests.

During our three-week vacation in Sri Lanka, we had a really nice stay at Hotel Tamarind Tree in Tissamaharama. the hotel's location was convenient, as it was close to places like Kataragama, Tissamaharama, and various suburbs. We found it to be a great base for exploring attractions such as Kataragama Temple, Sella Katharagama, Tissamaharamaya Temple, Sunglasses Temple, Miranda, Yala Safari. It was the perfect place for us to stay in the area.

The hotel is a good value. the location is convenient, close to various attractions like Yala Safari and Tissamaharama. - the staff is experienced and reasonably good. - It was a really nice stay during our three-week vacation in Sri Lanka.

The room was a nice size and had useful amenities like an iron/ironing board, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. the garden view was marvelous. - the location was peaceful and close to Yala National Park for safaris. - the hotel was conveniently located just a 20-minute walk from an ancient Buddhist temple.

We had an amazing stay here! The room was huge with a comfy bed, large bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool area was fantastic, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't try the breakfast but had some delicious lunch during our stay. The location was convenient for exploring the area.

We stayed at Hotel Tamarind Tree for one night, as our main purpose was to go on a Safari in Yala National Park. The hotel is perfectly located for this, and they even packed us a breakfast to take with us. The staff were all amazing - young, professional, polite, and went out of their way to help us. The pool was excellent, and we had it all to ourselves. The food was great, and we enjoyed the buffet. a beautiful location with friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at Tamarind Tree - the room was clean, modern, and had all the necessary amenities. The location was great for exploring the Tissa area, and the staff were attentive and helpful without being overbearing. The front desk manager in particular went above and beyond to assist us, especially when we had internet issues. Additionally, the food at the restaurant was outstanding, with the executive chef showcasing his talent in preparing delicious dishes.

Hotel breakfast could use more variety to make it even better.
